The Neurolocus Pain Management Center offers its patients all medically available procedures aimed at reducing pain intensity to a level acceptable to the patient, or achieving complete resolution of symptoms. Our mission is to improve both the physical and psychological functioning of individuals living with chronic pain.
What Do We Treat?
At the Neurolocus Pain Management Center, we provide treatment for the following pain conditions:
- Spinal pain: involving the cervical, thoracic, and sacroiliac regions (including sciatica, brachial plexopathy, facet joint degeneration, postoperative neuropathic pain, discopathies, and others)
- Osteoarthritis and degenerative joint pain: affecting the shoulder, hip, knee, and other peripheral joints
- Headaches: including migraines, cervicogenic headaches, and cluster headaches
- Neuropathic pain: resulting from nervous system damage or dysfunction
- Post-traumatic pain
- Postoperative pain
- Cancer-related pain
- Phantom limb pain

How to Prepare for Your Visit
To ensure a productive consultation, please gather your medical records and organize them chronologically. Specifically, please bring:
- Hospital discharge summaries
- Documentation of previous procedures, including surgical reports, nerve blocks, and physiotherapy records
- A list of current medications taken on a daily basis
- A list of previous medications that have been discontinued due to a lack of efficacy
- Diagnostic imaging, including X-rays, MRI/CT scans on CDs or other digital media, along with their official written reports
Providing this comprehensive history will facilitate the diagnostic process and allow for more informed therapeutic decisions.
What Does a Visit to the Neurolocus Pain Management Center Look Like?
- The physician conducts a detailed interview regarding the etiology and duration of the pain, previous treatments, and current medications.
- This is followed by a physical examination, the findings of which are cross-referenced with the patient’s imaging documentation — the physician assesses whether the clinical symptoms correlate with the pathology visible on X-ray, CT, or MRI scans. The more complete the documentation brought by the patient, the more accurate the analysis.
- Based on the information gathered, the physician discusses the available therapeutic options with the patient. The treatment plan is established jointly, taking into account the patient’s preferences, lifestyle, and expectations.
- Depending on the clinical indications, treatment may include pharmacological therapy, therapeutic and prognostic nerve blocks under ultrasound or fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance, regenerative procedures (PRP / Angel®, Orthokine®, ACP SVF), minimally invasive interventions (classic radiofrequency thermolesion RFA, pulsed radiofrequency thermolesion PRF, COOLIEF®, cryolesion, neuroplasty, ozonised dyscolysis, botulinum toxin, intravenous analgesic infusions), as well as physiotherapy or referral for further diagnostic testing.
- Should the need arise for continued treatment or assessment of the therapeutic outcome, a follow-up appointment is available, during which the physician monitors the progress of treatment and, if necessary, adjusts the further management plan.
The interdisciplinary team at Neurolocus — anaesthesiologists, neurologists, orthopaedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, plastic surgeons, and physiotherapists — works together to provide each patient with comprehensive and effective medical care.
