Specialist neurosurgeon: Spine and Peripheral Nerve Surgery, Interventional Pain Management, Neuromodulation

I treat patients with spinal disorders, peripheral nerve conditions, and chronic pain of complex etiology. In clinical practice, I combine surgical treatment with modern, minimally invasive interventional and neuromodulation methods, selecting the course of management based on actual clinical indications.

I perform neurosurgical spine procedures for disc-related and degenerative diseases of the cervical and lumbar spine, including discectomies and stabilizations. I also operate on peripheral nerves, with particular emphasis on the treatment of neuromas and compression syndromes.

At the same time, I provide advanced interventional pain treatment for patients in whom standard management has not produced the expected results.

I hold the CIPS certificate — Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist — issued by the World Institute of Pain, as well as the European Diploma in Pain Medicine — EDPM. I perform pain-relieving procedures under ultrasound and X-ray guidance, including thermolesion, pulsed radiofrequency thermolesion, cryolesion, and neuromodulation procedures.

The scope of neuromodulation includes, among others:

  • spinal cord stimulation — SCS
  • dorsal root ganglion stimulation — DRG
  • sacral stimulation
  • stimulation of facial structures
  • peripheral nerve stimulation — PNS

I am a graduate of Pain School International in Budapest, postgraduate studies in Pain Medicine at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and the European School of Neurosurgery. I developed my competencies in functional neurosurgery and neuromodulation through completed individual mentorship programs under the supervision of Prof. Jarosław Maciaczyk — INS Mentorship — and Prof. José De Andrés — STEP program — as well as during a fellowship in neuromodulation under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Green.

I see patients who require precise diagnostics, informed qualification for surgical treatment, and modern pain treatment methods — particularly in complex cases and those resistant to previous therapies.
